Dual Language Immersion Sites
The Dual Language Immersion Program is currently located at 6 schools: Denbigh and Watkins Early Childhood Centers, Katherine Johnson and Saunders Elementary Schools, Gildersleeve Middle School, and Menchville High School.
Children are assigned to a school based on the home address of the child's parent/legal guardian. Based on this address, Transportation is provided to and from school.

Students who are zoned for Watkins ECC, Denbigh ECC, Saunders Elementary, and Katherine Johnson Elementary will be provided busing to their zoned school in order to attend the Dual Language Immersion Program. Additionally, students who are zoned for Palmer Elementary School can receive bus transportation to Saunders Elementary to participate in the program and students who are zoned for Greenwood Elementary, General Stanford Elementary, and Stoney Run Elementary can receive bus transportation to Katherine Johnson to participate in the program.
If the family of a student who lives outside of these school zones wishes to participate in the program, they would need to apply for an administrative transfer, submit an application to the Dual Language Immersion Program, and provide the child's transportation to and from school if the applications are accepted.
